Doctoral grants

Below you will find the main institutional resources available.

FNRS Doctoral Grants

The FNRS Scientific Research Funds (FRS-FNRS) aim to develop fundamental research, by setting up a real "career plan" for researchers, something which is not often seen in Europe.  It should be noted that researchers engaged by the FRS-FNRS carry out their research at universities within the francophone community of Belgium.  The objective of this grant is to allow the preparation and presentation of a Doctoral thesis.

Visit http://www.frs-fnrs.be/formulaires/login.cfm to find application forms in French, which are accessible once you have obtained a personal access code (personal ID + password).

The grant is awarded annually and for a maximum period of three years.

It involves a one-year stay in a foreign university.
