Coordination of research: Prisme

Prisme is the body coordinating all research activities at HEC-ULg Business School.  It includes representatives of the different Teaching and Research Units of the School and the Research Centers. 
This body supports scientific output, in particular by allocating grants and subventions for:  participation by doctoral students in training seminars, presentations at international scientific congresses, travel scholarships to foreign Universities, inviting guest researchers, local organization of international events, acquisition of data bases and processing software, etc.

Its missions are:

 

  • to encourage the development of interdisciplinary projects and to obtain grants associated with the peaks of excellence (see below);
  • to strengthen the scientific standing of the School and to enhance the visibility of its competencies and its activities for partners outside;
  • to play the role of facilitator between research centers and units, the teacher-researchers of the School and the internal and external bodies providing grants. 

 

The Managing commitee is composed of:

5 representatives of TRUs (Unité d'enseignement et de recherche – Teaching and Research Unit) and 5 representatives of research centers.  They form the "School Research Committee", with particular responsibility for coordinating the research for mobility support from ULg and/or HEC-Management School.
