Customs Compliance

The European Commission recognises The Master’s of specialisation in Tax Law - Customs Compliance academic programme, delivered by the University of Liège, Belgium, as a high-quality customs-specific study programme, that is in line with the EU Competency Framework for the Customs profession (CustCompEU) and its associated EU Reference Training Programmes for Academic Customs Education.

Why?

Anchored in international tax law and applied to global operations, customs compliance has become strategic to the development of international trade operations. The considerable increase in the logistical flows in recent years and the changes pertaining to the regulations and the environment of global trade have led to the need for economic operators to develop new skills in customs and excise.

How?

The programme covers European and international taxation, operations management and international trade law. The courses offered in customs legislation are taught in a pragmatic way by numerous guest experts from international organizations (WCO, WTO, European Commission) and from administrations and the private sector.

Who is it for?

This programme provides in-depth skills in customs compliance and international trade operations at a global level. It is aimed at public and private sector professionals wishing to develop their customs expertise as well as to students wishing to acquire it.
