"How could a new MBA make its path in a saturated market?” I have wondered about it with a dose of skepticism fueled by my 4-year INSEAD experience, whose MBA degree has been the flagship for more than half a century. But I have taken notice of the intelligence of the program’s positioning at the geographical (internationalization naturally comes from the cross-border, cultural and linguistic exchanges that the program produces), philosophical (it is above all a training, and the degree is only the consequence) as well as functional (the structure articulates around competencies that are genuinely useful to the managers within their environment) levels. Understanding the business context, digest it, and translate it into concrete decision making, this makes sense. Confronted to the project’s realism and honesty, my only option is to give the best of myself.
